When the door suddenly swings open of it own volition, your body is jerked violently by the vibration of a dozen drums. The queen is there. Behold, stranger!..


I wanted to create something like that for a long time. Now I am glad that I did it :-)
This work is done mostly in Photoshop though I used some 3D elements to boost realism. The most interesting discovery I did during this painting is the use of Texture option in Photoshop brushes. The textured brushes rule!!! It is just amazing how much details they can add in a very short time. The three metal heads of the beasts were originally created in ZBrush but were painted over in Photoshop afrewards.

Hope, you will not be too harsh on me. :-)
